Lincoln County Community Foundation Now Accepting Applications From Nonprofits

Lincoln County Community Foundation
Press Release

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – The Lincoln County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for its 2023 grant program. Eligible organizations include 501(c)(3) publicly supported charities, churches and religious organizations, governmental agencies and educational institutions.

Grants will be awarded in support of a broad range of charitable purposes, but priority will be given to proposals that address a community need, specifically child services, education, food insecurity, housing, mental health or utility assistance. All proposed projects and programs must serve residents of Lincoln County.

Award amounts will be determined based on the merits of the proposed project and the Foundation’s available funds. Previous awards have ranged from $1,000 to $5,000, but for exceptional applications that will be beneficial to Lincoln County residents, the Foundation will consider larger requests.

To begin the application process, visit fftcgrants.communityforce.com and select “Lincoln County Community Foundation” to access the online application. Returning applicant organizations can log in to the Online Grants Center using their previously established ID and password. First-time applicant organizations can create a new account. Completed applications must be submitted online by noon on Friday, June 16. The online application closes promptly at 12 p.m. and will not accept late submissions.

Please contact Nicole Fote with further questions about the application process: [email protected] or 704.973.4559.

Problems With Our Lincoln Herald Email Link:  We apologize to those readers who had signed up for our free daily email with links to our latest articles.  You haven't been receiving that email recently.  The company that was handling sending out the daily emails with links to our latest articles failed us.  After many talks with them and other companies, we have decided to enter into a new agreement with another company that will provide the platform for the Lincoln Herald as well as other services including sending out those emails.

For now, we have no way to send out the emails.  When the new provider's services are in place (over the next few weeks) we'll ask our readers to sign up for the emails again; they will still be a FREE service.  The new provider has also promised to improve our website, especially the photos we post (which always looked terrible when they are copied to Facebook).

Our new look is coming soon!

In the meantime, you can still read all our articles for free on our website https://www.lincolnherald.com/ and we will continue to post links to them on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/LincolnHerald.net, and Twitter @LincolnHerald20.

Thank you for reading the Lincoln Herald.
