Crouse UMC Community Breakfast, Saturday, March 11: Join us for a FREE Home Cooked Breakfast with Friends and Neighbors on Saturday, March 11 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Breakfast menu varies each  month. Lowesville Gospel Concerts/Vineyard Church, Michael Wayne Smith and Churchmen Bluegrass, Saturday, March 11:  Vineyard Church (formerly Living Word Ministries), 1062 South Hwy 16, Stanley (Lowesville), NC presents on Saturday, March 11 at 5 p.m. All our concerts are No Admission Cost, a freewill offering only will be received, and you are invited. We have concerts every 2nd and 4th Saturday. The church is located 1.8 miles south of the intersection of Highways 73 and 16 Business. Lincolnton SDA Church Mental Health Seminar, March 13-14: The Lincolnton SDA church will have a "God's Plan For Mental Health" seminar on Monday, March 13, and Tuesday, March 14, at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited. First UMC of Lincolnton Lenten Services March 15 - April 5: First United Methodist Church of Lincolnton is hosting weekly Lenten Services on Wednesday at 12 Noon until 1 p.m. through April 5, 2023. A light Lunch will be served from 12 Noon until 12:30 p.m., with the service to follow led by local church pastors. The March 15 service will be led by Rev. Dr. Stanley Spence of First Baptist Church of Lincolnton.  The cost for lunch is $6.00. The church is located at 201 E Main Street, Lincolnton, NC  28092. Cedar Grove Lutheran Living Passion Drive-Thru, Sunday, April 2: Cedar Grove Lutheran Church is hosting its annual LIVING PASSION event on Palm Sunday, April 2 from 3-5 p.m. at  261 Cedar Grove Church Road, Vale, NC. This is a free, drive-through event offering a village of scenes depicting the Passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus.  For more information call 704-276-2430.

Crouse and Pleasant Grove UMC, Holy Week Schedule, April 6-9: The congregations of Crouse and Pleasant Grove United Methodist Churches invite you to join them for the following Holy Week services at these three locations:

  • Maundy Thursday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2069 Hwy 182, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
  • Good Friday, April 7 at 12 Noon at Crouse United Methodist Church, 3311 Crouse School Rd, Crouse, NC 28033.
  • Easter Sunrise, Sunday, April 9 at 7 a.m. at the Michael’s Farm, 2924 Harmon Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 (Please bring a lawnchair). In case of inclement weather the Sunrise Service will be held at (TBA)
  • Easter Sunday Worship, April 9: 9:30 a.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church ; and at 11 a.m. at Crouse United Methodist Church.
