Area churches will participate in joint services for the Lenten season beginning this Wednesday (Feb. 22nd).

First United Methodist Church in downtown Lincolnton will  host weekly Lenten Services at noon each Wednesday through March 29th.  A light Lunch will be served from noon until 12:30 followed by a short service led by local church pastors. Also on Wednesday, Crouse and Pleasant Grove United Methodist churches will have an Ash Wednesday service at Crouse United Methodist, 3311 Crouse School Road in Crouse at 7 PM.  The community is invited.
