LINCOLNTON––Christian Ministry of Lincoln County’s annual meeting is getting closer.

According to executive director Mitzi Williams, it will be held Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church at 216 S. Aspen St. in Lincolnton. In the event of snow, it will be postponed until Feb. 6. Williams added that this yearly event is always a good time for learning more about the ministry and its efforts to help Lincoln County’s less fortunate residents.

In other news, the ministry’s soup kitchen has open dates available for volunteer coverage. They are March 11 and 18, as Williams informed.

“Our 2023 calendar is now open and taking dates,” she said.

Interested in helping cover the soup kitchen? Call the ministry and ask for Williams.
