LINCOLNTON––What’s in your closet?
An oft-overlooked facet of Christian Ministry is its clothing closet. And according to executive director Mitzi Williams this week, the clothing closet is in need of multiple items. They include women’s underwear; men’s belts in a waist size of 30 inches and higher; men’s jeans in waist sizes of 30 and 32 inches; and men’s shoes in sizes nine and a half and up.
Take a look in your closet. Got any such unused items that are just taking up space? Christian Ministry would love to hear from you.
In other news, the ministry’s LINC Meals program, which delivers hot meals to Lincoln County shut-in and elderly residents, is in desperate need of volunteer delivery drivers, as Williams revealed.
“We have several routes in the West Lincoln area that need coverage,” she said. “If you are interested or have questions, please contact Mimi Rhyne.”
Available routes include the West Lincoln II route on the third and fourth Friday of each month and the First Presbyterian route on the third and fourth Thursday.
Can you help? Reach out to Rhyne by telephone at (704) 732-2691 or by e-mail at [email protected].
And don’t forget Christian Ministry’s annual meeting. This informative event is coming up Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, located at 216 S. Aspen St. in Lincolnton.
