LINCOLNTON––Christian Ministry is nearing the culmination of its annual Christmas efforts.
According to executive director Mitzi Williams, the ministry’s give-out day will be this Thursday, Dec. 23.
“People have through Dec. 23 to sign up for toys,” said Williams. “We have enough food for 200 more families to sign up.”
And she added that if you can’t come yourself, someone may come on your behalf. Plus, if you can volunteer to help the ministry’s efforts, Williams said that would be much appreciated.
“We are very busy,” she added, “and we need your support. We are still collecting food and toys for Christmas, as well as signing up clients through Dec. 23.”
The ministry’s location at 207. S. Poplar St. is the donation drop-off zone. Come by, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
“We are asking for volunteers,” said Williams. “We are going to need volunteers to help sort clothes in the clothes closet after the first of January.”
