As one pastor put it on his church's Facebook page, the church has left the building. Most area churches had a worship service Sunday (March 22nd) although in many cases it was nothing like the normal service. Even where the regular service was streamed, it included only a few necessary persons--in some cases a pianist or organist, a soloist or a choir, and the pastor--plus the persons who handled the technical matters of streaming the service.
The Lincoln Herald provided information about many of those services. We will be glad to do the same for this Sunday (March 29th) and for others yet to come in the event (likelihood) that this 'stay at home' situation continues.
If you would like for us to include your church's plans, send us an email with the information including a hyperlink if possible that can be used to access your service online. We will post those we receive FREE OF CHARGE.
We will also be updating (and in some cases repeating) other postponements, cancellations and schedule changes. Send all information to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have questions, call or text 704-276-6587.
