The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for ready-to-eat (RTE) beef and chicken taquitos and chimichangas products containing diced green chilies that have been recalled by the producer, Sun Valley Foods.

Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Southern Piedmont and Western NC is warning consumers about a series of scam phone calls that have been flooding the Charlotte region from the Department of Social Security Administration (SSA). In the voicemail, the SSA imposter says that the consumer's Social Security number has been suspended.
