Baseball/Softball Scores

In baseball, East Lincoln won in a tournament at Myrtle Beach, downing a team from Ohio, North Royalton, 8-5. North Lincoln was playing in another tournament at Myrtle Beach, but we didn't get a report on their score. They play Waccamaw at 2:30 Wednesday.

West Lincoln lost to Foard 11-1 Tuesday in a tournament at the Catawba County Fairgrounds. They play Newton-Conover at 11 AM Wednesday. Foard plays St. Stephens at 4 PM.
Maiden lost to R-S Central 5-3; they play Chase at 4:30 Wednesday in a tournament at Patton High School
Cherryville played twice in a tournament and lost both, to West Brunswick 1-0 and to Southwest Guilford 4-2.
Bandys lost in a tournament at Shelby to Kings Mtn. 7-1. They play South Point at 1:30 Wednesday.

Lincoln Charter had its Spring Break last week and went 1-2 in a tournament at York, SC. The Eagles returned to conference play on Tuesday with an 8-7 win over Community School of Davidson. They play at CSD on Thursday.


The North Lincoln softball team was playing in a tournament at Cherryville High School. They won 9-8 over Burns Tuesday and will play Kings Mtn. at 11:30 Wednesday. In that same tournament, West Lincoln beat Kings Mtn. 15-3. The Rebels play Burns at 10 AM Wednesday. Cherryville downed North Gaston 13-8. They play Kings Mtn. Wednesday.

Lincolnton's softball team lost to Forestview in a tournament at South Point High School 4-2.

The Maiden girls beat Hickory 10-0 in a Tuesday morning game at Hibriten, then lost to Hibriten 4-3.
