Three Injured in New Year's Accident

Three New Year's Shooters were injured in a New Year's morning accident in western Lincoln County. One of them had to be airlifted to the hospital in Charlotte.

The NC Highway Patrol investigated the incident near Hull's Grove Crossroads (NC27 & NC274, Mitchem's Kitchen intersection) about 2:20 AM Saturday morning (New Year's Day). The NC Highway Patrol office in Newton was unable to provide additional information Monday.
