Hickory Police Department Press Release
The Hickory Police Department says an arrest has been made in a fatal hit and run that occurred early Saturday morning (July 31st). 18-year-old Cesar Lozano-Mendoza turned himself at the Hickory Police Department at about 4:30 Saturday afternoon.
The victim, 18-year-old Brianna Nicole Page of Hickory, was struck while she was walking to work in the 1000 block of 20th Street NE at about 5:30 AM. She was pronounced deceased on the scene. Mendoza has been charged with felony hit & run resulting in injury or death and misdemeanor traveling left of center. He was placed under a $15,000 secured bond and confined at the Catawba County Jail.
