A Familiar Face In A New Place

Alliance Bank & Trust Company, a community bank with two branches in Gastonia and one each in Shelby and Kings Mountain, has announced that Tracy E. Barger has joined their team as the new Lincoln County Market President.

Mrs. Barger is a native of Lincoln County and has more than 25 years of banking experience.  After graduating from Gaston College, she began her career at Transouth Financial, working for Lincoln Bank, First Charter Bank and most recently 14 years with Bank OZK. 

“Tracy is a very seasoned and community-oriented banker and is well known in the Lincoln County Market,“ said Dan Boyd, Alliance’s current President and CEO. Boyd added “I am extremely excited to have Tracy join our company as she will be an excellent addition to our leadership team.”

Mrs. Barger is deeply involved in the Lincoln County community, currently serving as Treasurer of the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, member of the Small Business Council and Leads Group, Secretary for the Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Treasurer of the Lincoln County Foundation for Public Education, and a founding member, past president, and current board member Cruisin' for a Cause.  She and her husband of 26 years, Daniel W. Barger, Jr., have one daughter, Victoria. She is a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Crouse.
