GASTONIA, N.C. – Gastonia Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man charged with robbery and murder in the June 20, 2020 shooting death of a Winston-Salem man.
On June 20 at 11:53 p.m., Gastonia Police responded to the 2400 block of Fairview Drive, Gastonia, in reference to a shooting. Devonte Leon Hall, 28, of Winston-Salem died on the scene.
Chrishawn “Chuck” Deandre Jowers, 26, of Winston-Salem is charged with 1st Degree Murder, Robbery With a Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
