When it is the appropriate time for families to fill out the online verification form for returning students (approximately July 8), they will receive a letter/email from Lincoln County Schools with instructions on how to access the system for their student. The email will contain a link with instructions and a secure "snapcode" that links families to their student's information.
Some key benefits for families:
- Securely available anywhere with internet access
- Annual process = more current information in our database
- Forms are pre-populated with data on file
- Families can save and come back if necessary
- Ability to remind families to update data
- Share family information between siblings
- Technical assistance provided to parents by PowerSchool
Lincoln County Schools acknowledges that this will represent a change in our processes and know we will see an initial learning curve. After this, though, we believe you will see that this new process will provide new efficiencies for our district - minimizes data entry and streamlines data management.
We are looking forward to this transition. Please contact your school Principal and/or Data Manager with any questions.
