It was early March last year when FBI agents and Gastonia Police executed a search warrant and seized cocaine, various chemicals used for cooking powder cocaine into crack cocaine, and $1801 suspected as proceeds from drug sales from the home of Marcus Isaiah Curry.
This week, after a three-day trial in Charlotte, Curry, 38, was convicted in federal court Friday of drug trafficking and firearms possession by a convicted felon. Curry now faces a sentence of 10 years up to life in prison.
