Hickory Police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting incident Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 13th). Police say Phelifia Marlow succumbed to her injuries after being transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center following the 2:30 PM shooting at TCS Designs, 1851 9th Avenue NE. Police say the shooting was the result of a dispute between two employees of the business.
Tangela L. Parker is wanted for First Degree Murder for the death of Marlow. Eric Parker is wanted for Accessory After the Fact of First Degree Murder. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of either of the Parkers is asked to call Hickory Police at 828-328-5551.
Police say the Parkers are residents of Alexander County. They were last seen leaving the business in a beige 2019 Honda CRV displaying North Carolina tag FAM5669. The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
