LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Two people have been arrested in connection with shooting into an occupied Willis Road, Vale, NC dwelling on November 1, 2020.
Seth Paul Franklin, 26, of O P Drive, Lawndale, NC turned himself in at the Lincoln County magistrate’s office on January 11, 2021. He was served felony warrants for discharging a firearm into occupied property and conspiracy. Franklin was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
Robert James Waldrop, 32, of Forest Morrison Road, Lawndale, NC who is in the Cleveland County Detention Center was served felony warrants for shooting into an occupied property and conspiracy. He was placed under a no bond hold on the Lincoln County charges.
The residents of the home on Willis Road told officers they were sleeping in the bedroom when gunshots from a passing vehicle struck the home. The gunshots struck the walls of the living room, a spare bedroom and the garage. No one was injured in the incident.
