12/30/2020 4:07:00 PM Two People Charged With Shooting Into An Occupied Dwelling

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives are looking for two people charged with shooting into a Willis Road, Vale, NC home on November 1, 2020.
The residents at the home in the 2100 block of Willis Road told deputies they were sleeping in the bedroom when gunshots from a passing vehicle struck the house. The homeowner checked around the home and discovered gunshots into the living room, a spare bedroom and garage. The shots at the garage also struck a vehicle parked inside.
Detective Jacob Lail conducted an investigation into the incident and with the assistance of the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office was able to identify the suspects.
Seth Paul Franklin, 26, of O P Drive, Lawndale, NC and Robert James Waldrop, 32, of Forest Morrison Road, Lawndale, NC are charged with one felony count each of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling and felony conspiracy. Warrants have been issued but no arrests have been made.
