LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Barbara “Libby” Elizabeth Brown, age 77, of The Addison in Lincolnton, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 followed by her funeral service which will be held at 2 p.m., in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shea Houser officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was born May 3, 1945 in Lincoln County to the late Torrence Coley and Lila Mae Beal Senter. She retired from Bell South. She was a loving, strong, funny lady, who meant so much to so many, especially her family. They meant the world to her. She was a precious woman who loved the Lord. She will finally get to see her daddy who she has dearly missed since she was 14-years-old and her sweet mama.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph H. Brown Jr.; her son, Scott Douglas Dellinger and wife Dawn Renee of Lincolnton; her daughter, Lisa Marie Dellinger Bagwell of Lincolnton; her brother, Torrence “Allen” Senter of Raleigh; her sister, Jill Dean Senter Woods of Charlotte; and “Mimi’s” grandchildren, Kirstin McKahl Pulcini and husband Jonny, Chayton Allen Dellinger, Caillou Douglas Dellinger, Corporal James “Jake” Harold Bagwell Jr., Lauren “Lexi” Alexis Bagwell.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association - Western Carolina Chapter, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, North Carolina 28209.
